The series of “body to body” is drawn based on the ID photos of people I had direct connections or close relationships with. An ID photo itself is a shallow thing. From the little information of those ID photos, the big canvas gets filled with strokes that used the nature of paints and physicality of body. The title “body to body” is coined from the phrase “face to face”. It is named with the meaning of the relationship between the body of artwork itself and the human body, and to present communication as human beings.
